Section 115
Conviction or punishment by summary military court
(1) The verdict or sentence of the military court shall not be upheld. It should be done immediately.
(2) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-section (1), if the action is taken by an officer with less than five years of service, the punishment shall not be imposed without obtaining the approval of the commanding officer or a higher officer except during military action.
(3) The conviction or sentence passed by the military court shall be presented to the officer authorized by the unit or commander-in-chief or the commander-in-chief, and such officer may cancel or reduce the conviction or sentence after looking at the true nature of the case.
